The St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers are set to meet at Candlestick Park in a battle of NFC West foes. FOX will broadcast the game at 4:15 PM ET. St. Louis comes into the game with a 2-9 overall record and 1-4 away record. San Francisco is a 13.5 point favorite and has a 9-2 overall record and 2-0 division record.

This will be the first game of the season for the division rivals. When the two teams squared off last year, each team was able to pick up a win at home.

The Rams are coming off a narrow 23-20 defeat against the Cardinals. Sam Bradford had 203 yards passing, completing 17 of 31 attempts with one touchdown and no interceptions. The 49ers are fresh off a 16-6 defeat versus the Ravens. Alex Smith had 140 yards passing going 15 for 24 and one pick.

San Francisco should expect to see gains in its running attack as the Rams' run defense is the worst in the NFL, giving up an average of 159.0 yards per game.
