With a disappointing outing for A.J. Feeley, the Rams were crushed by the 49ers, 26-0, at Candlestick Park.
Feeley finished 12 for 22 passing for only 156 yards and no touchdowns, one pick and one fumble. Alex Smith put up better numbers for the 49ers, and wound up 17 for 23 with 274 yards passing, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Steven Jackson gained 19 yards on 10 carries in addition to one reception for 11 yards. Brandon Gibson snagged four balls for 42 yards.
The St. Louis defense surrendered 144 yards rushing and 245 passing. They tormented Smith with four sacks.
49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was impressive, churning out 96 receiving yards and one touchdown. After Smith, he was the top performer for San Francisco. Wide receiver Kyle Williams also put together a noteworthy performance with 66 receiving yards, 25 rushing and one touchdown.
The Rams head to Seattle next week to face the Seahawks (5-7) while the 49ers go to Glendale to play the Cardinals (5-7).
