Steven Jackson had a big day, but it wasn't enough to avoid a late defeat for the Rams against the Cardinals, 19-13, at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Sam Bradford finished 23 for 36 with 255 yards and one pick with no touchdowns. For the Cardinals, John Skelton wound up 20 for 35 with 222 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions.

Jackson was a key factor for the Rams, rushing for 130 yards on 29 carries in addition to one reception for 12 yards. Brandon Lloyd snagged five passes for 80 yards.

The St. Louis defense played well in the loss, giving up 70 yards rushing and 192 passing. They sacked Skelton three times.

Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet churned out 78 receiving yards.

The Rams head to Cleveland next week to face the Browns (3-5) while the Cardinals go to Philadelphia to play the Eagles (3-4).
