Steven Jackson had a big day running the football, leading the way to a narrow victory for the Rams over the Browns, 13-12, in Cleveland.
Sam Bradford completed the game 15 for 25 with 155 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. In comparison, Colt McCoy went 20 of 27 with 218 yards passing, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Browns.
Jackson ran all over the Browns for 128 yards on 27 attempts in addition to three receptions for 23 yards with one fumble. Brandon Lloyd caught four passes for 48 yards with a touchdown.
The St. Louis defense was the deciding factor in the victory, allowing 126 yards rushing and 209 passing. They got to McCoy for two sacks.
Browns running back Chris Ogbonnaya provided some spark with 90 yards rushing and 19 receiving. Wide receiver Greg Little also had a noteworthy performance with 84 receiving yards.
Next week, the Rams are at home against the Seahawks (3-6) while the Browns play the Jaguars (3-6), also at home.
