Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was named the StatSheet NFL Offensive Player of the Week after an exceptional game. Roethlisberger threw for 275 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions on 18 for 29 passing. He also pitched in 55 yards and one touchdown on the ground in the 35-3 lopsided victory against the Raiders. For the season, he has passed for 1,579 yards in addition to a 62.6% completion rate, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions.
This is the first time this season that Roethlisberger has won the award. Running back Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jaguars is the runner-up (133 rush yds, 87 rec yds, 1 TD). Honorable mention goes to wide receiver Greg Jennings from the Packers (7 rec, 152 rec yds, 3 TD).

StatSheet NFL Defensive Player of the Week: Justin Tuck, New York Giants
New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck had a spectacular game, earning him the StatSheet NFL Defensive Player of the Week award. Tuck recorded six solo tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles during the 27-17 loss to the Eagles. For the year, he has 51 tackles and seven sacks.
This is the first time Tuck has earned the award this season. The runner-up is linebacker James Harrison of the Steelers (5 tkls, 5 solo, 2 sacks, 1 int, 1 FF). Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis receives honorable mention (10 tkls, 8 solo, 1 int).

StatSheet NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week: David Gettis, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers wide receiver David Gettis put forth an impressive effort this past week. Gettis finished the game with two receptions for 92 yards and one touchdown in the 37-13 blowout loss against the Ravens. So far this season, he has 400 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
Gettis receives the StatSheet NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week award for the second time this season. Colts wide receiver Blair White is the runner-up (5 rec, 42 rec yds, 2 TD). Honorable mention goes to Saints running back Chris Ivory (23 car, 99 rush yds, 1 TD). Tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, who finished fifth, was the highest ranking player from the Rams (4 rec, 46 rec yds, 1 TD).

StatSheet NFL Defensive Rookie of the Week: Earl Thomas, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was a force all over the field this past week. Thomas racked up six solo tackles and one interception during the 34-19 loss to the Saints. For the year, he has 52 tackles and five interceptions.
Thomas wins his second StatSheet NFL Defensive Rookie of the Week award this season. The runner-up is Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond (9 tkls, 9 solo). Linebacker Pat Angerer of the Colts receives honorable mention (12 tkls, 9 solo).
